Delivery

  • Here at Notacandle.com. we use An Post as our delivery service. 
  • Once your order has been placed you will receive an order confirmation by email.
  • We will aim to dispatch your order within 1 – 2 days unless otherwise specified.
  • Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email notifying you along with tracking information (please check spam or junk folders for your email notification).
  • Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.
  • During the busy Christmas period (November/December) delivery may take a bit longer as the postal service can get completely overloaded.  Please be aware of this and you can order early to avoid disappointment. 
  • If your order is not delivered within 1 month of delivery notification within Ireland and 2 months outside of Ireland,  please notify us and we will issue a full refund.
  • Delays within the postal service are out of our control. 
  • Please ensure the correct delivery address and Eircode along with a contact phone number when placing an order.
  • Goods will be delivered to the address stipulated on the order. 
  • Our delivery charges are as follows – €5.50 within Ireland (ROI & NI)
  • Free Shipping on orders of €75 or more.

Returns

Customer experience is very important to us. We strive to make your shopping experience as enjoyable as possible.  With that in mind if you have received an order that is damaged or not what you had expected it to be you have the right to cancel within 14 days. 

This is called the “withdrawal” or “cooling off” period after receipt of the purchase.  If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, please follow the following steps:

  • Email info@notacandle.com to notify us that you wish to return your order, we must receive this request in writing by email or post.
  • Please quote your order reference number.
  • You must do this within 14 days of receiving your order.
  • We will provide you with the return details.
  • Goods must be returned within 14 days of notifying us of the intended return.
  • You are responsible for the cost of returning your order – this is non-refundable.
  • All goods must be returned in the original packaging, with labels intact and in good condition.
  • Please ensure that you always retain any proof of posting/purchase.
  • We will not accept responsibility for lost items that have been returned for refund.
  • Once goods have been returned, we will inspect them and providing they are in good condition which we can re-sell at full price we will issue your refund in full using the same payment method you used.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. The cooling-off period does not apply to the following purchases:

  • Personalised or custom-made product
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable products
  • Some health and personal care items

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at  info@notacandle.com to discuss an exchange.

 

Damaged / Incorrect Items:

If you receive a product from us that is damaged or incorrect, please notify us immediately within 14 days of receiving your order.

We will cover the cost of delivery and either replace the damaged/incorrect products or issue a full refund.
